The Devils kicked off the 2017-2018 season in style by defeating the Colorado Avalanche 4-1 in front of a loud, sellout crowd from Prudential Center. Will Butcher finished with 3 assists on the day and Jesper Bratt added a goal and an assist as the Devils won their first game of the season.
