The shot totals were lopsided, tthe buzz was there. Though it took the shootout to decide it, the Devils came away with yet another huge victory, defeating the New York Rangers to maintain control of the Metropolitan Division.
The Devils turned in one of their best efforts of the season, finishing with 48 shots while limiting the Rangers to just 28 shots of their own.
