Coming off one of their worst losses of the season in Ottawa, the Calgary Flames presented an opportunity for the Devils to quickly get back on track before what is a challenging stretch that will see them play five of their next seven games against Metro division foes.
The Flames used a strong second period to jump out to a 3-1 lead and despite a spirited comeback attempt from the Devils in the third, they fell short.
